About PixelDocTools

PixelDocTools is a small set of focused, single-purpose tools for everyday image and document conversion: compressing and resizing images, converting between common image formats (JPG, PNG, and WebP), and converting between Word and PDF documents.

The five image tools run entirely in your browser, using your device's own processing (the Canvas API) rather than uploading files to a server. The two document tools — Word to PDF and PDF to Word — are harder technical problems: they also run in your browser, but each tool's page explains plainly what formatting is, and isn't, preserved. Word to PDF may not match complex layouts or fonts exactly, and PDF to Word extracts editable text rather than reproducing an exact visual copy of the original.

There's no account system and no paid tier — every tool is free to use, and none require sign-up. The site is supported by advertising from third-party ad networks, which may be shown alongside the tools. Ads never get access to the files you process, because your files stay in your browser.
